Master Corporal Tanya Young, Private Jonny Henderson, Sergeant Stephen Hughes, and Sergeant Chris Anders serve in the Panjwaii district of Afghanistan. While holding this volatile region, they live through an atrocity. In interviews with the media, the soldiers recount the details of what happened leading up to the horrific event with painful and halting detail. The soldiers may not be responsible for the incident, but they are not entirely innocent either. It becomes clear that each soldier is carrying their own guilt and trauma from the psychological toll of fighting in a war where the allies are uncertain and the enemy is always present.
