Image 1: A portrait of the artist, Vee CR, wearing pink and black cat-ears and a maid costume. Vee CR is light skinned with brown hair and colourful neo-traditional tattoos. They are photographed in their bedroom; their bedsheets are floral and the background is blurry leaving the figure in focus.

Image 2: A photograph of the exterior of Vee CR's PLAY House, 2021. Red curtains hide 2/3rds of the room. Inside we see a glimpse of an engagement photo hanging on a pink wall, surrounded by twinkling lights. On the floor rests a blow-up bed and a grey carpet that matches the concrete gallery floor.

Image 3: A digital collage depicts a fictional living room. There is a yellow couch, red door, and every surface is covered in pattern and texture. On the couch sits Vee CR's Mona (Kevin) Lisa, 2020 pillow and on the wall hangs Vee CR's Lioness, 2019.

Hi, my name is Vincent Bianca Aleksandria Chorabik-Ratchford, but you can call me Vee CR for short. I use they/them pronouns and identify as non-binary and (dis)abled. I am an artist, writer, and educator. I have been in school basically my whole life studying art, English, gender, and psychology. I just graduated from Emily Carr University’s Master of Fine Arts program, and I am applying to PhD programs for next year. I primarily exhibit art in Vancouver, though I also exhibit elsewhere. I’m a transdisciplinary artist. I make all sorts of things, including but not limited to: installation art, digital and analogue collage, drawings, paintings, performance art, poetry, and more! My work primarily focuses on: queer and (dis)abled identity in relationship to pain and pleasure, and how it manifests in our art and our daily lives.
