I am a determined and energetic self-starter with a unique passion for making the arts accessible and inclusive for all. As a recent graduate of Ryerson’s Creative Industries program with a minor in Disability Studies, I firmly believe that people with disabilities should have equal access to all cultural and artistic experiences. I have worked and volunteered in the accessibility sector for organizations like Accessible Media Inc., Summerworks Performance Festival, and Tangled Arts + Disability. I have also done accessibility related freelance work for a number of organizations including The Toronto Fringe Festival. I am able to bring years of experience working with Deaf and disability communities to help organizations develop accessible programming, find accessible venues, facilitate accessibility and disability-sensitivity training, and much more. Overall, it is my goal to work with creative companies and artist-run centres to help them become more inclusive to artists and audiences with access needs.
