Call for Applications: Manager, Community Engagement
Reporting to the Director, Operations, this position oversees The 519’s community engagement and capacity building efforts through meaningful and responsive community-based programming, information and support services, and engagement activities. This includes supporting LGBTQ newcomers and refugees through the delivery of settlement supports, group programming, and civic engagement activities, leading engagement programs for LGBTQ2S seniors and youth, reducing barriers for marginalized communities to participate in programs and services, and aligning our engagement efforts with broader organizational equity, diversity, and advocacy strategies.
This position participates as an active member of The 519’s management team helping to ensure that the programs and services achieve The 519’s mandate, goals, and objectives, and that it operates in line with the City of Toronto’s Relationship Framework, while maintaining the effective operation and development of The 519 and the broader community.
