Pro D Workshop: Describing the Arts for Young Audiences

VocalEye is hosting a series of Professional Development workshops for audio describers of all levels via Zoom. This month, we focus on audio description for young people with guest instructors Anne Hornsby and Jenny Stewart-Cosgrove from the UK.

$79 for both sessions (not including service charges).

Accessibility

Suitable for describers of all levels. People who work with blind youth, users of audio description and access providers are welcome. Subsidies are available for those in financial need. Contact events@vocaleye.ca for more information.

VocalEye is a non-profit society, registered charity and the first live descriptive arts service for the blind in Canada. Our mission is to provide greater access to theatre, arts and cultural events for people of all ages who are blind and partially sighted. We provide theatre companies and other arts organizations with the support necessary to make their productions and events more accessible to these audience members through live description, education, outreach and other services.
