Stan is trying to understand how it feels to be different. His home life is changing as his mother struggles with her own disfigurement from an aggressive cancer. Powerless over his mom’s despair of her now imperfect body, Stan infiltrates a therapy group as one of their own. In the end, Stan must exceed his own limitations to find his imperfect place in the world.
