Call for IBPOC Artists
The Colour Theory Anti-Racist Art Exhibit will be developed out of a series of facilitated discussions that explore experiences around racism. Visual art and storytelling pieces will be shared with the general public to spark dialogue around racism.
Colour Theory invites ten Indigenous, Black or People of Colour (IBPOC) artists to virtually gather to actively practice anti-racism. The artists will collaboratively create a safe space for these conversations which will inform their exhibit submissions. The exhibit will empower the public to self-reflect on the topic of racism.
Participation in Colour Theory is open to adult artists of all career stages in Greater Victoria who identify as IBPOC. IBPOC artists identifying as LGBTQ2+ or people with disabilities are encouraged to apply.
