Call for Submissions: Cowboy Tempest Cabaret

The Musical Stage Company is currently casting a developmental workshop of an original new musical “COWBOY TEMPEST CABARET”, co-created by Niall McNeil, Lucy McNulty & Anton Lipovetsky with lyrics by Niall McNeil and music by Anton Lipovetsky.

Guns and magic. Love and hurt. When gunslinger Prospero conjures a storm in the desert, he begins a chain of events that forces every cowboy and spirit into a fight for freedom. Created by an artist with Down Syndrome and his longtime collaborators, Cowboy Tempest Cabaret is a totally lawless adaptation of Shakespeare’s Tempest musicalized in the styles of rock, folk and country & western music.

We are seeking a neurodivergent actor for the role of JOHN WAYNE, and we are looking to meet other d/Deaf, Mad, disabled artists/artists with disabilities, and neurodiverse artists in all age ranges for the role of ARIEL. Please see the Call For Submissions document for full submission details.
