Syllabus for Black Love: a kiki with Jaamil Olawale Kosoko as J-Lov, Dana Michel and Ravyn Wngz
Hosted by Studio 303
The Toronto Dance Community Love-In and Studio 303 host an event that screens a conversation between Jaamil Olawale Kosoko, Ravyn Wngz and Dana Michel. Come witness online richness, conversation, and have the opportunity to engage in a Q+A session with Jaamil and other attendees.
Moderated by Love-In Co-artistic Director Leelee Oluwatoyosi Eko Davis, the conversation will center around themes offered by Jaamil, and together the panelists will kiki on topics of black love, self love, care, joy and survival.
“My hope for this panel is for each artist to discuss their journey toward self love and how it’s practiced in their lives, art, and communities. I also see this as a community discussion where participants are encouraged to activate the chat with discussion and links towards resources, texts, images that inspire them on their personal love journey.” —Jaamil Olawale Kosoko
