My Monsters Hold Me Soft

My Monsters Hold Me Soft is a free 9-session workshop for queer disabled youths ages 20–25 who have been directly affected by abuse and/or other forms of trauma.

As a trauma informed and anti-oppressive workshop, this is a safe, intimate, and creative circle for those who wish to work together to heal from trauma.

Featuring artists, art therapists, and art expressive therapists as the facilitators, we also have a wide array of guest speakers within the queer and disabled community as well as a counsellor.

Did we mention? It’s completely FREE. No prior experience with comics or art is needed. All sessions will be held virtually over Zoom.

Sessions are every Monday and Thursday 2-3pm EST for 5 weeks, May 31-June 28.

Sign up opens tomorrow (May 24) at 2pm EST. The selection process will be first-come, first-served with BIPOC priority.

For this round we will prioritize working with local participants within Toronto, or within Canada. A maximum of 10 spots are available for this workshop.
