F-O-R-M 2021

We're thrilled to be bringing you another year of F-O-R-M in the digital space! F-O-R-M 2021 will take place online September 13-18, co-presented by SFU Woodward's Cultural Programs.

20 short films from 9 countries around the world 9 world premieres from 11 youth + emerging commissioned artists FORMations, technology + interaction, workshops, artist talks + more

F-O-R-M is an international movement-on-screen festival that centers the voices of youth and emerging artists. We screen and commission films that explore the limitless possibilities of the body in motion through film. We provide support and a platform for early-career artists while introducing our audiences to expansive, genre-defying filmmaking.

Accessibility

Festival events will take place online via Vimeo live-stream or Zoom (with the exception of one in-person film installation in Vancouver, Pedestrian Protest). All online events will be available to watch on demand throughout the week of the festival until September 25 if you are unable to watch live.

Captions All films with any spoken words will include captions in English. All workshops and our two Commissioned Artist talkbacks will have live auto transcription. Recorded events will include captions in English.

Transcripts An edited copy of the transcripts for all live festival events will be made available 12-48 hours after each event. Links to this material will also be made available in the daily pass holder emails.
