Communal Dreaming

A virtual gathering to visit 3 dreamscapes: self, others, and a path towards a vision of a more just community and tools to get you there.

Communal Dreaming consists of visiting three dreamscapes - what dreams do you have for yourself? for your community? and how do we map your path towards it? In thinking about our existence in diasporic spaces where one faces access issues to mental health care, displacement from cultural knowledge and language, and ignorance of racialized experiences, we are forced to built new means of existence. We hope this experiment in dreaming enables you to come away with a sense of renewed imagination, understanding of art-based techniques of getting to where you want to go, and a shared dream for a community.

Facilitators: Manvinder Kaur (Community Fellow, Healing Arts Dinner Circle)
