Hosted by Tangled Art + Disability

Tangled Art Gallery, 401 Richmond Street West, Toronto, ON, M5V 3A8, Canada

Curated by artist Carmen Papalia, Undeliverable envisions curation as a form of care. The exhibition is co-presented by Tangled Art + Disability and the Robert McLaughlin Gallery (RMG). This means there will be unique aspects of the show at both galleries.

Bringing together six artists from the Mad, Deaf and disability community: Vanessa Dion Fletcher, Chandra Melting Tallow, Jessica Karuhanga, jes sachse, Aislinn Thomas, and Carmen Papalia with Heather Kai-Smith, this exhibition re-envisions the museum around the demands and desires of the disabled body/mind and features ambitious new work that challenges institutional structures and centres mutual accountability.

Tangled Art Gallery is in a barrier-free location. Audio description will be available for the exhibition as well as a guided tour. We will have ASL interpreters, attendant care, and live captioning during public engagements. Service animals are welcome. We request that you help us to make this a scent-free environment.
