iAM Program Registration

Hosted by JAYU

Are you interested in making art? Growing your storytelling skills? Incorporating social justice into your creative process?

Sign up to participate in our FREE iAM Program. We will provide you with the creative toolkit you need to develop social justice focused artwork.

If you've been waiting for a sign to learn DSLR photography, mobile photography, filmmaking, or poetry - this is it!

iAM registration is open to anyone who is interested. However, priority will be given to equity deserving youth.

Equity deserving youth are those who identify as having barriers to equal access, opportunities and resources due to disadvantages and discrimination. This includes:

  • Black and racialized people
  • People with disabilities
  • Indigenous (First Nations, Inuit and Métis)
  • Lesbian, Gay, Bi-Sexual, Trans, Queer and 2-Spirit (LGBTQ2S+)

Doors close on September 20th so be sure to save your spot today.

JAYU is a registered Canadian charity and a leader in the space where the arts and human rights intersect. We believe strongly that the arts provide the strongest platform to share human rights stories. The arts can be used to educate, to build empathy, to heal, to forge community and to inspire the kinds of conversations necessary to reimagine a more just and equitable world. Guided by our dedicated team of staff, artists, educators and our Board of Directors, our year-round programming includes our annual Human Rights Film Festival, our iAM arts and social justice training program, The Hum Podcast and our Human Rights Screening Series.
