Call for Applications: HOMO: A Queer Cabaret

Hosted by Intrepid Theatre Company

HOMO: A Queer Cabaret will take place on Friday, December 10 and Saturday December 11 at The Metro Studio. Due to COVID-19 we will be having two performances to accommodate smaller audiences, and artists need to be available for both shows.

This is an open call for artists, and the cabaret will be programmed with diverse samplings of the inspired, kitschy, avant-garde, f*cked up and charming (due to time constraints, not all applications may be programmed). Your piece should deal with themes of sexuality, gender identity, LGBTQ issues or have general "queer" content. Honorariums will be provided for those artists who are programmed in the cabaret.

Artists may be given 10-15 minutes or 2 spots during the show.

A COVID-19/Communicable Disease Prevention Plan is in place at The Metro Studio, and will be followed for this show, all artists will be required to follow it.

We want to hear from diverse local artists and queer artists from all performance disciplines (dance, theatre, music, performance art, opera, spoken word, visual art, drag & more).

Applications are due end of day, November 3.
