Fundraising and Fund Development Officer

The Art Gallery of Sudbury | Galerie d’art de Sudbury is seeking a Fundraising and Fund Development Officer, Capital Campaign, to support the development, implementation, and management of a capital campaign for the new Franklin Carmichael Art Gallery of Sudbury | Galerie d’art de Sudbury with a minimum fundraising goal of $2M.  

Over the next five years, the Art Gallery of Sudbury | Galerie d’art de Sudbury will change state. We will move from the state of imagining our new future in Junction East, a new state-of-the-art building in downtown Sudbury — in collaboration with the new main branch of the Greater Sudbury Public Library, Sudbury Theatre Centre, Sudbury Multicultural and Folk Arts Association — to building and opening our new Franklin Carmichael Art Gallery of Sudbury | Galerie d’art de Sudbury in concert with the City of Greater Sudbury.  

The Fundraising and Fund Development Officer, Capital Campaign, reporting to the Director | Curator, will deliver the capital campaign in collaboration with the Gallery Capital Campaign and Fundraising Committee.

The Art Gallery of Sudbury | Galerie d’art de Sudbury is housed in a heritage building that limits physical accessibility. The first floor can be made accessible to wheelchairs and other assistive devices through the garage and into the main floor gallery. Public washrooms (basement), Gallery II (second floor), and the Administrative Offices (third floor) are not accessible.
