Call to Artists: Online Exhibitions

Hosted by Arts AccessAbility Network Manitoba

Arts AccessAbility Network Manitoba, with funding from the Canada Council for the Arts, mounts monthly online exhibitions to showcase the work of Canadian artists with disabilities. Our goal is to increase awareness of the amazing artworks being created by artists with disabilities, and to decrease barriers to participation in the arts for both makers and audiences.

Emerging and established artists of all disciplines are welcome to submit work for consideration. Submissions are reviewed by an AANM committee. Selected artists will receive CARFAC artist fees, and limited assistance with documentation/presentation of work if necessary. We thank you for your interest. Only selected artists will receive notification, however we will keep all submissions on file for consideration for future shows.

To apply, send a brief proposal and three small examples of your artworks to programming@aanm.ca.

The deadline is ongoing; we will be reviewing submissions on December 15, 2021 (Jury: Debbie Patterson, Kristin Nelson, Mariana Muñoz Gomez), and February 18, 2022 (Jury TBA), with one artists selected each month for the 2021/22 year from the total pool of applicants up to Feb 18.

Artists must be AANM members to show with us.
