Almost Live: PuSh Festival Preview + Highlights

Hosted by VocalEye

We’re kicking off the new year with previews, highlights and the inside scoop on the hottest and most accessible shows at this year’s Push International Performing Arts Festival!

Host Amy Amantea will be joined by Accessible Push Coordinator, Anika Vervecken who will introduce the festival’s “low vision friendly” productions with show descriptions, excerpts and some special guests. The festival dates are January 20 to February 6 and we’ll be giving away some tickets to live and/or virtual events!

The PuSh International Performing Arts Festival is one of Vancouver’s signature events. Founded in 2003 and produced each January, the Festival expands the horizons of Vancouver artists and audiences with work that is visionary, genre-bending, multi-disciplined, startling and original.

VocalEye has partnered with PuSh since 2013 and has described 14 live productions at venues across the city, including the dance spectacular, Frontera at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre in 2020.

If you’ve never attended a VocalEye Almost Live Zoom event before, you can register for just one event or sign up for the full season. A Zoom link and reminder will be sent to you on the day of the event.
