General Submissions to 19:2 - Open Theme

Now accepting submissions to Vallum 19:2! The theme is open!

No restrictions, no limits, just poetry! Send us what you're proud of, what you didn't think was possible, what you want to send into the future with a wink to the past. More than anything, we want to hear you.

Deadline: May 15, 2022

Submission fee: We charge a minimum fee of $3 per submission when submitting online. We use this fee to help cover operating costs. Any donation of $10 or greater will be issued a charitable receipt. If this amount presents a barrier to your ability to submit, please contact submission@vallummag.com.

Vallum is interested in original and previously unpublished work. Simultaneous submissions are acceptable as long as submissions are withdrawn from Submittable in a timely manner. If your work has been published in our most recent issue, please wait one issue before submitting again, at which point we will be happy to consider more of your work.

Vallum also accepts submissions of audio and video poems for possible inclusion in the digital edition. All files must be in MP3 or MPEG-4 file format and cannot exceed 95MB in size.

Submissions are accepted through Submittable only. We do not accept mailed submissions.

We pay our contributors!
