Artist Talk: Stephen Wangh
A talk with “Acrobat of the Heart” and “The Heart of Teaching” author, Stephen Wangh.

Join New(to)Town Collective and spend an evening with acclaimed playwright, director, and teacher of acting, Stephen Wangh. Stephen is the author of An Acrobat of the Heart, a physical approach to acting inspired by the work of Jerzy Grotowski (Vintage, Random House, 2000) and of The Heart of Teaching: Empowering Students in the Performing Arts (Routledge, 2012). The Heart of Teaching is inspired by his 50 years of working with students and teachers in the performing arts. During this artist talk, Stephen will share his pedagogical approaches and current artistic research. There will be ample room for questions and conversation during the Q&A session. Join us for this special evening.
