Exhibition, Premiere and Dance Party

What is an Icon?

Today an icon can be anyone who we think is important. From movie stars, public figures, singers, ourselves and beyond, these are individuals we consider worthwhile of great celebration and what better way to celebrate than with a Dance Party!

On Thursday, May 19, we invite you to cSPACE to experience our multidisciplinary event, ICONIC.

Highlighting the work of National accessArts Centre (NaAC) visual artists in the Movie Poster and Modern Icons exhibitions, we will also be premiering the dance Ensemble’s film, Moving Pictures, Pictures Moving along with a few other favourite selections. Following the screenings, an experimental performance led by Daniel Vais (Culture Device, Drag Syndrome, and Radical Beauty Project) will kick off a dance party for all!

When: Thursday, May 19 Where: cSPACE - 1721 29 Ave S.W. When: 6-10PM

Tickets: $15 General Admission (25 tickets available). Sliding Scale in support of accessibility and financial needs, please reach out to Ashley if this ticket pricing does not work for you. Ashley.brodeur@accessarts.ca
