Paprika Festival

Hosted by Paprika Festival

Aki Studio Theatre, 585 Dundas Street East, Toronto, ON, M5A 2B7 , Canada

Join us in the Regent Park neighbourhood for a week-long festival of new work by young and emerging artists! From May 16-22, 2022, the 21st Paprika Festival will showcase offerings created by 60+ emerging artists from across Turtle Island and beyond, with a selection of works-in-process, panel discussions, readings, workshops, gatherings, and more — created and performed by the next generation of theatre-makers and change-makers!

Explore the entirely FREE and by donation festival offerings, and join Paprika in (re)imagining process and the future of theatre.

Health and Safety notes: We will be following the Native Earth and Aki Studio Covid-19 Safety Guidelines throughout the festival. Audiences will be required to wear a mask at all times for all indoor activities, and proof of vaccination (2+ doses) is required to attend all in person festival events for individuals over 5 years of age. For your safety, all events have a limited audience capacity of 80%.

Daniels Spectrum is fully wheelchair accessible. Detailed access information for Daniels Spectrum and Native Earth Performing Arts Aki Studio, including TTC Transit, Parking, and Accessibility Features is available online at https://www.nativeearth.ca/location/
