June 9, 2022 - June 12, 2022

We are so thrilled to announce our hybrid digital and live festival.

The photos used in the festival graphics were made by combining a series of images synthesized through code, into one visual. This computational output is somewhat incomprehensible. There is a denial of easy categorization. We are playfully surprised again and again in its assortment of forms. Things aren’t what they seem.

For EVERYSEEKER 2022, expect to be moved by similar emotive abstractions. ES 2022 embraces the lossiness, the unrendered, the experimental, the glitches and sonic cacophony. This festival is dynamic, we relish in its various happenings. Our artists remind us to get lost in the weird, the noise and the genre-bent. We can’t wait to share this year’s artists with you. We can’t wait for you to enter ES 2022’s multitude of compositions, see you both on the keyboard and away sweating it out amongst summer flowers…

or amongst vases of flowers…

are those flowers?

All of our digital programming is free and open to the public. Most of our in-person events and workshops are also free, with the exception of a few ticketed shows which have a Pay-What-You-Can option.

If there is any way we can make our festival more accessible for you, please email nik@everyseeker.com.

There are gender-neutral washrooms, which include 3 toilets and a urinal located up a set of 10 stairs. There is a more private, ground-level all genders wheelchair accessible washroom, which is located down a wide hallway that includes a ramp and a key to open. This washroom does not have automatic doors or sink, but is equipped with grab bars, automatic lights and a wide doorway with a large interior.

The All Nations Christian Reformed Church entrance on Robie St. has an accessibility ramp leading up to the door from the Robie St entrance. There is one accessible, private gender neutral washroom equipped with grab bars.

EVERYSEEKER presents contemporary music and sound in beautiful Kjipuktuk | Halifax, Nova Scotia. We approach curation with an open-minded, genre-fluid curiosity, responding to both local communities and international dialogues in underground and experimental sonics. We host a concert and education series throughout the fall and winter and an annual four-day festival each spring. We aim to create genuine spaces of listening, subversion and celebration that resist the pitfalls of the music industry. Join us in celebrating the fringes of culture and the power of new ideas!
