Creative Accessibility: Creative Freedom
Hosted by Creative Manitoba
Creative Accessibility: Creative Freedom with Milli Flaig Hooper
Created in partnership with Arts AccessAbility Network of Manitoba
An agreed upon dream takes time to become a 3D reality. Sometimes all that we have is a calling for creative freedom without knowing the details of how we will get there or what it could look like. We just imagine what it might feel like to have it. This workshop is the story of Milli Flaig-Hooper, paper maker and paper artist and how she became The Paper Fifrildi. Milli will share what made her journey possible with the assistance of Rose Flaig, an Inclusion Advocate who is also her mother.
Creative Accessibility is a series of workshops that will explore disability art, the experiences of artists with disabilities and how to make art accessible. These workshops will be beneficial not only for emerging artists with disabilities, but artists at all levels of their career with and without disabilities.
