Audio Description Apprenticeships

Hosted by VocalEye

VocalEye has been describing live theatre and arts events for members of the blind and partially sighted community since 2009. To expand our audio description team, VocalEye is accepting applications for two part-time apprenticeships. The focus of this intake will be in-person live theatre and performing arts description. A foundational understanding of what is being described is essential. Priority will be given to applicants who have some professional training and/or experience in the performing arts, preferably theatre. Strong writing and verbal communication skills are also recommended.
