The Healing Quilt

VocalEye presents The Healing Quilt with Crowd Source description and conversation with Indigenous artists Sharifah Marsden (Anishinaabe), Corey Larocque (Cree/Gitxan/Haida) and Jerry Whitehead (Cree).

Online via Zoom, Wednesday October 12. Free event. Registration required for first-time attendees.

The VocalEye virtual lobby opens at 6:30 pm Pacific Time for socializing. Amy Amantea’s official welcome begins at 6:45 pm with a pre-show introduction. The feature presentation begins at 7 pm, followed by Q and A with guests, a prize draw and conversation.

Almost Live events are designed to be accessible for people who are blind and partially sighted, but all are welcome to join us. You can sign up for one event or the whole season, which runs Wednesdays from October 5 to December 14, 2022.

VocalEye is a non-profit society, registered charity and the first live descriptive arts service for the blind in Canada. Our mission is to provide greater access to theatre, arts and cultural events for people of all ages who are blind and partially sighted. We provide theatre companies and other arts organizations with the support necessary to make their productions and events more accessible to these audience members through live description, education, outreach and other services.
