Call for Applications: Online Note-takers

Hosted by InterdepenDance Collective

The Collective Access Screen-dance Residency is seeking note-takers for different roles. It is a very part-time contract, with online meetings on Zoom. The cross-disability project is facilitated by the InterdepenDance Collective.

There are multiple note-taking roles available. When you apply, please let us know which roles you are available for. **Roles are open until filled. **An orientation will be available if someone offered a role has not been a note-taker before.

If filling in an online application form does not work for you, other formats for applying are available by contacting Joanne@CreativeMoment.im . The list of note-taking roles mentions which roles are for meetings that already have captioners, and which are for workshops that also have ASL interpretation. Applicants are invited to mention if they have any access realities they would like facilitators to be aware of.

InterdepenDance Collective

The InterdepenDance Collective is passionate about Disability Justice and interconnections among communities. We are a group of artists who are active in cross-disability dance, and who experience barriers in the arts. The group was started by dancers mostly based in Lekwungen homelands and the islands region. The group is committed to ongoing learning around decolonial practices, Indigenous sovereignty, intersectional Disability Justice in/through dance, multigenerational collaborating, and prioritizing the leadership of Indigenous, Black, People of Colour, Deaf, Mad, Spoonie, Sick, Crip, Disabled, Two-Spirit, trans, non-binary, gender-expansive and queer artists and communities.
