Dr. Syrus Marcus Ware Artist Talk

Hosted by Tangled Art + Disability

Location

Tangled Art + Disability, 401 Richmond Street, S-122, Toronto, ON, M5V 3A8, Canada

Join Tangled Art + Disability on November 10 from 5 - 6 PM EST for a virtual artist talk by Dr. Syrus Marcus Ware in support of his solo exhibition Random Access Memory: A Portal to Multidimensions.

Random Access Memory begins with a story shared between the artist and his grandmother. The story is an invitation for us to tumble through a portal to multidimensions, to meet multidimensional beings, and find out what they have traveled here to tell us.

During the talk, Syrus will discuss the themes of the exhibition, how his collaboration with the multidimensional beings shaped the show, and the intergenerational story told by his grandmother and revisited in a 2022 context. Following the talk will be a short Q+A with Syrus, facilitated by Sean Lee.

Random Access Memory: A Portal to Multidimensions is on at Tangled Art + Disability until November 11.

This event will be held over Zoom.
