Upintheair Theatre is the producer of the rEvolver Festival, The Array, the UpDrafts Collaborative Commission and award-winning theatrical productions such as The North Plan, The City and The City and Inside the Seed. Following the departure of founding Artistic Producer Daniel Martin, the company is restructuring under the leadership of the board and co-founder David Mott.
**Upintheair is hiring a General Manager/Managing Producer **to direct the company's administrative, granting, and business operations. **Hours: **Average 25 hours/week* / 100 hours/month* *Seasonal Workload Fluctuation The majority of the position’s responsibilities are responsive to seasonal highs around project delivery for rEvolver in May/June and in house productions in late fall/early winter (The Array / Updrafts Collaborative Commission).

Core Skills we are looking for (but are not limited to & can provide training for if needed):
- Working on shared documents across cloud-based platforms, e.g., Google Drive
- Grant writing
- Budgeting and financial management
- Database management
- Understanding of non-profit societies – previous experience working with non-profits would be an asset
- Liaising with stakeholders including government, donors, audiences and artists
- Software Proficiencies
- MS Excel and Word: High Proficiency
- Quickbooks or equivalent accounting software: Basic Proficiency
