Call for Submissions: Yikes Co. Zine
"Don't Talk To Me" is the working title for YIKES' 2023 zine. This zine is meant to be a multidisciplinary exploration of access.
We are looking for submissions from Queer, Trans, Black, Indigenous, POC, Disabled, (QTBIPOC) and Neurodivergent artists.
Artists are being asked to create or submit a work based on the theme of access and COVID-19 (explored in the section below). Accepted artists will have their work placed into a zine that will be released both digitally and physically.
**For the zine, artists will receive an artist honorarium of $50. **
We are looking for artists/writers of any discipline. This includes, but is not limited to: painters, digital artists, collage artists, poets, musicians, journalists (academic and/or opinion based) creative writers, those who create tactile art that can be photographed, and performance artists (with pieces that can be photographed).
Applications close December 4th.
