Montréal's Studio 303 now has submissions open for its 2023-2024 Residencies.

Studio 303's residencies offer time, space, and support for research and creation to contemporary dance and interdisciplinary performance artists. Residency time is your time, and we expect nothing in return.

WHAT WE OFFER

• access to the studio and its equipment
• minimum contribution of $500 per project
• photoshoot with a professional photographer
• one meeting to help with a related grant application (Grant Lab)
• 50% off studio rental in the same season (July 1st - June 30th)
• some projects are considered for a presenters' showcase (SPARK Series)

HOW WE CHOOSE PROJECTS Each year, we form a selection committee of a few 303 staff members and two former artists in residence. Committee members are asked to evaluate proposals based on:

• fit (is it a good fit for 303 in terms of our space, culture and criteria?)
• originality (of form or investigation)
• quality of work (from video or past work)
• impact (how important is this residency?)
