MINE
Location
Backstage Theatre, 10330 84 Avenue NW, Edmonton, AB, T6E 4E9, Canada
Hundreds of feet below the ocean floor, in the dark, in the damp, the men of the deeps mine for coal. Down below, they’re forced to crawl – but on the surface, they’ll resist, and rise again. Based on an unbelievable true story, MINE shares the struggle of the revolutionary Cape Breton coal mining communities at the turn of the twentieth century. _MINE _will debut as a staged reading as part of RISER 2023 from March 3-4. Presented by Common Ground Arts and the RISER Edmonton, catch this performance at the Backstage Theatre at the Fringe Theatre Arts Barns.
