Still Moon Arts Society (Still Moon) inspires vibrant and connected communities by facilitating artistic experiences and nurturing a passion for nature. They do so through their eco-arts and environmental stewardship programming, and founding festival, the Renfrew Ravine Moon Festival.

The Moon Festival Volunteer Coordinator supports the Moon Festival Production Manager with volunteer recruitment, logistics and execution of the 21st Annual Renfrew Ravine Moon Festival. The role is best suited for someone who enjoys connecting with people, is excellent at juggling a variety of responsibilities, and is highly organized. The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for recruiting, training, supporting, and inspiring community members in the neighbourhood to fulfil specific volunteer roles for the Renfrew Ravine Moon Festival. The Volunteer Coordinator acts in an organizational and mentorship role to ensure the Moon Festival has enough support in all the right places to be a successful and inspiring neighbourhood festival.

Key Information:

• Salary: $ 18 - 19 / hour
• Start Date: June 26th
• End Date: October 13th (16 weeks total)
• Schedule: The total hours worked during the contract will be 480, averaging 30 hours/wk). Hours worked per week may vary slightly from week to week depending on festival programming needs.
• Location: Hybrid. Renfrew-Collingwood Community, Vancouver
