Presented by Neworld Theatre in partnership with Balancing Act and PACT, Creating a Framework of Care: Successes and Tensions seeks to open the floor for organizations to ask questions and share their experience of creating equity-based contracts and agreements. The Framework of Care was created by Neworld Theatre through Balancing Act. Balancing Act is an initiative of Theatre Direct whose aim is to create increased equality, accessibility, and inclusion for parents and caregivers* working in the performing arts. We collaborate with artists, arts workers, and arts organizations to develop pathways for change at an individual, organizational and systemic level. This conversation takes place on March 6 from 1:00-3:00pm PST at Progress Lab 1422 (1422 William Street, Vancouver).
