Almost Live: Assassinating Thomson

Hosted by VocalEye

May 24, 2020 at 1:30 PM – 4:30 PM PDT

VocalEye’s first virtual online Zoom event features a pre-recorded live performance of Assassinating Thomson with special guest, Bruce Horak. His one-man tour-de-force delves into the mysterious death of famous Canadian painter Tom Thomson and the subsequent rise of the Group of Seven. Art, politics, ambition, love and murder all take the stage in this compelling tale. Exploring the facts and fictions around Thomson’s death, Horak reveals his own story and the unique way in which he sees the world. This performance is recommended as accessible without description. Bruce will be joining us live for a pre-show chat and post-show Q and A with Amy Amantea.
