Blockorama, the largest and longest running stage at Pride has a vibrant history as an activist-based, artistic space. Curated by Blackness Yes!, a committee of artists and activists from Toronto’s Black Queer and Trans communities – Blockorama is a fully accessible stage with ASL interpreted content and accessibility viewing. Blockorama 21 spotlights and features local and international black performers. Headlining this year will be none other than the Queen of Bounce and Beyoncé collaborator – Big Freedia and Grammy award winning R&B legend, Mýa! Local DJ’s Blackcat, Nik Red, Craig Dominic, Carma and more, will be joined by Toronto’s best drag, ballroom and musical performers to keep the good vibes flowing.
