Call For Submissions: Art Salon Mentorship Program

Hosted by Arts AccessAbility Network Manitoba

New extended deadline: September 25th

Arts AccessAbility Network Manitoba (AANM) is now accepting applications for the new fall mentorship AANM Art Salons. The Art Salons will feature three outstanding leaders in the disability community from different artistic practices. This program is for emerging artists (visual, literacy and performance based) to receive critical feedback and engage in group discussions about their work

Debbie Patterson will be working with 6-8 theatre artists, Yvette Cenerini will be working with 6-8 visual artists, and Kate Grisim will be working with 6-8 writers. These Art Salons will allow for participants to meet as a group to discuss and receive feedback on their artistic practice. There will also be one-on-one meetings with the leaders for each participant to receive more focused and detailed critiques. The first meeting for each group will be staggered during the fall/winter of 2020/21. Each group will have the opportunity to share their work in a public presentation.
