Winter 2020 Exhibitions: Live Gallery Tour
Hosted by The Power Plant
231 Queens Quay West, Toronto, ON, Canada
February 22 at 2:00 PM
The Power Plant invites vistors who are blind or who have low vision for an audio description tour of three exhibitions by artists Rashid Johnson, Dawit L. Petros and Naufus Ramírez-Figueroa. Audio description is a way of using words to represent the visual world, and of helping people form mental images of what they may not see clearly.
Meet in The Power Plant’s lobby.
Free. This audio description will be developed and delivered by Kat Germain. A limited number of light-weight folding stools are available for when the tour stops in each gallery. The gallery is wheelchair accessible with both levels of the exhibitions serviceable by elevator and a designated restroom located onsite. The Power Plant also welcomes guide dogs and other service animals. If you have any questions in advance of your visit, please call 416.973.4949. If you require assistance during your visit, please ask at reception.
