Winter Workshop Series
Hosted by Sick + Twisted Theatre

Sick + Twisted Theatre is proud to present our Winter Workshop Series. We’ve teamed up with some of Winnipeg’s finest artists to offer four training programs that will help you learn new skills or take your work up a notch. Especially developed for Winnipeggers who identify as Deaf or disabled, these classes will help you find new ways to speak your truth.
The workshops are:
- Songwriting with John K Samson, Wednesday afternoons, Jan. 20 to Mar. 10.
- Rap Class with Elliott Walsh (a.k.a. Nestor Wynrush), Wednesday evenings, Feb. 3 to Mar. 3.
- Playwriting with Trish Cooper, Thursday evenings, Jan. 21 to Mar. 11.
- Stand-Up Comedy with Lara Rae, Friday evenings, Jan. 22 to Mar. 5.
To apply: email sickandtwisted@outlook.com, and tell us a little bit about yourself and why you’re interested in the class. If you’re interested in more than one class, please let us know which one you are most interested in. Class size is limited but we want to make sure we can accommodate as many people as possible!
