freygl is a queer, nonbinary multiply crip/mad, white, first-generation immigrant-settler, Ashkenazy Jewitch whose people are from present-day Moldova. fae is a writer, multi-disciplinary artist, crafter, cultural worker, and community organizer living, dreaming, working, co-creating, praying, and healing in Tkaronto/toronto. freygl has published 5 chapbooks of poetry in a series titled “Growing Roots, Healing Wounds” and faer work appears or is forthcoming in Living Hyphen, Nevermore Journal, Angel Press, Bleeding Thunder, and SeedyZine. freygl has performed at spoken word events in Tkaronto/toronto, Metula/victoria, and elsewhere since 2012, and was a feature at Glad Day’s Emerging Writer Reading Series for trans and nonbinary writers. freygl has recently performed in “Pandemic Puppets Purim Shpil” (Independent Jewish Voices, 2021), “Lyalkes” (Yiddish New York, 2020), “Goylem Oys Shtroy” (Yiddish New York, 2019), and has directed several community-devised political theatre pieces.
