Shanna Cheng

Shanna Cheng is a Hard of Hearing printmaker and curator. She endeavors to collaborate with marginalized artists in the creation of inclusive exhibitions and public programming. Shanna obtained her BFA from Emily Carr University and completed her Fine Arts: Cultural Resources Management certification at UVIC. She worked with non-profit galleries in exhibition design, installation, and planning. She is leading the Artists with Disabilities exhibition and Emerging BIPOC exhibition in 2023; both which drive her to create equitable access in exhibitions for underrepresented artists. Shanna is a member of Malaspina’s EDI Project Advisory Group.
