I am a mad-identified research and writing consultant with a commitment to celebrating the ways of knowing and being in the world that have historically been discredited and dismissed. My personal artistic practice involves multi-media creative nonfiction with a particular interest in disrupting medical texts. My professional focus has been on advocacy through knowledge production. I'm interested in applying my skills in research, writing, and institutional advocacy to build capacity among service users, survivors, and makers whose bodies and truths have been denied legitimacy in social, artistic, and academic spheres. Using words to navigate bureaucratic structures is a strength of mine, and I want to mobilize my skills and my privilege to secure resources for emancipatory initiatives that enable epistemic agency and expression.
